LOST & SURVIVE PROGRAM

Read this blog and you will wonder whether the outcome will be very much difference if it happen to those who is equipped with suitable basic knowledge of facing the challenges of the Mother Nature. “Lost and survive” is a two days jungle survival course aimed to all those adventurous individuals who tend to learn more about jungle survival techniques. It is conducted at Gunung Nuang campsite located in Kajang, Selangor. The rough terrain at Gunung Nuang which also known as “Little Gunung Tahan” befitting the exposure needed by the participants in or order to provide them on the real feel of tropical jungle setting.
The main objectives of this course are basically to enhance participant’s knowledge in various aspects of jungle survival and to equip them with all the appropriate technical know -how and tips which are useful in the event of any emergency situation in the jungle. It is also part of the social responsibility which is deemed timely due to the increasing incidents and accidents during adventurous activities by various parties where part of the main cause might be due to ignorance and unawareness of those who are more eager in conquering and thus neglecting their safety and well being.
The course contents will include
1) Edible and Medicinal Plants,
2) Search and Rescue
3) S.O.S International code
4) Preparing Foods using nature resources
5) Preparing proper shelter
6) Do’s and Don’ts in the woods
and many others definitely will enhance one’s ability and aptness in handling emergency situation in the jungle. The inputs from the experienced speakers and facilitators definitely will be useful and valuable to the participants as it will be delivered in a very hand’s on and practical manner that will encourage understanding and
comprehension on the topics covered. It is guaranteed that in the end of the course, the participants will be able to apply all the techniques learnt through this course their daily routine and adventurous activities effectively.

Be presence in Mount Nuang on 21st and 22nd Nov
Be equipped with such equipments:
a) Parang
b) messtin
c) Headlamp
d) Whistle
e) ‘batu asah’
f) ‘rafia’
g) ‘Clothing line’
h) sulphur
i) Matches
j) Lighter
k) Day pack
And it is recommended also (YES,NO PROBLEM..you can be with us even without those) to bring the followings:
1) Rubber Mat
2) Sleeping Bag
3) Insect repellant
4) Poncho
